Strict legal compliance is non-negotiable. You must follow all local, state, federal, and international laws applicable to your location and the nature of your investigation. Evidence obtained illegally cannot be verified and will be rejected.

Never trespass. If a mission requires retrieving physical samples (e.g., soil, water, agricultural products) or placing sensors on private property, you must ask for and receive explicit permission from the landowner or authorized manager. Document this consent whenever possible.

Privacy & Consent

Respect reasonable expectations of privacy. Be aware of your local recording laws (e.g., one-party vs. two-party consent states for audio recording). Do not record audio or video in private spaces without consent. Doxxing, harassment, or stalking of individuals is strictly prohibited.

Personal Safety First

No mission is worth your life, health, or freedom. When investigating potentially dangerous scenarios (such as clandestine labs or illegal dumping sites), maintain a safe distance. Do not confront hostile actors. If a situation feels unsafe, retreat immediately and report to appropriate local authorities if necessary. Do not engage in vigilante justice.

Digital Boundaries & OSINT

For digital missions (e.g., financial ledger auditing, political influence mapping), rely exclusively on Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and publicly available or legally obtained records. Do not attempt to hack, breach secure systems, use stolen credentials, or bypass digital access controls.

Drone & Airspace Regulations

For missions involving aerial photography or atmospheric scanning, adhere strictly to FAA (or your local aviation authority) regulations. Do not fly drones over restricted airspace, critical infrastructure, or private property where it violates local privacy or aviation laws.

Data Integrity & Objectivity

Report facts, not assumptions. Do not fabricate, manipulate, or selectively omit data to fit a narrative or claim a bounty. Always use cryptographic tools (like ProofMode) to ensure your evidence remains unaltered and verifiable from the moment of capture.
